What’s happening?
Custom fields for Electronic Invoicing Resolution are not appearing in invoices generated from POS Cloud, while they display correctly in invoices from local POS systems.
 

Reason:
The custom fields configured for the receipt profile appear correctly on local machines but not in the cloud-based POS, leading to blank fields in cloud-based receipts. This discrepancy may be due to differences in hardware station configuration or printer settings.
 

Resolution:

  • Verify that the custom fields are correctly configured in the receipt profile for both local and cloud environments.
  • Ensure that the same receipt profile is being used for both local and cloud POS systems.
  • Check the configuration of the hardware station used in CPOS to confirm it is set as Shared and not Dedicated, as this can affect receipt printing.
  • Review the driver version for the printer to ensure it is up to date.
  • Test printing from the same printer used in local POS to rule out printer-related issues.
  • Gather telemetry data and session information to assist in diagnosing the printing issue.
  • If necessary, provide screenshots of the receipt profile design and custom fields configuration for further analysis.
