What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties activating the CPOS system, encountering various error messages including "Getting latest number sequence failed".
  1. The error "Getting latest number sequence failed" is caused by a missing receipt number format in the Functionality Profile, leading to a failure in fetching the latest number sequences from the online server.
Resolution:
For the "Getting latest number sequence failed" error:
  1. Add a receipt numbering format for the relevant receipt type in the Functionality Profile.
  2. Run the 1070 and 1090 jobs to ensure the changes take effect.
  3. After these steps, attempt to re-activate the register.
