What’s happening?
Customers are unable to complete the transaction for a second return when attempting to return multiple items from a single purchase. Specifically, there are no refund options available for the second return, which significantly impacts sales.
Reason:
This arises after upgrading of the Dynamics 365 system, particularly related to the channel return policy setup. The problem is exacerbated by the absence of refund options when trying to process a second return.
Resolution:
- Enable the feature “Improved user experience for POS returns”.
- Run the “Update return quantities” job in HQ at high frequency.
- Run the distribution schedule job “1200” to update the stores at high frequency.
