What’s happening?
Users are experiencing issues with Android POS tablets where the transaction screen layout is not loading correctly, resulting in a completely blank screen that prevents access to button grids. 


Reason:
The POS system chooses a layout based on the screen resolution at the time it launches, and when the screen is rotated, the layout does not change.


Resolution:

  1. As a workaround, customers are advised to disable the auto-rotation feature on the device.
  2. Consider using the compact layout, which is better suited for mobile devices, as it has been reported to resolve this issue in some cases.
  3. Ensure that the screen layout configurations are correctly set according to the device specifications. The layout resolution should match the device's screen resolution.
