What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing confusion regarding the two sets of capacity status displayed in the Power Platform admin center, specifically regarding which status should be considered for actual capacity usage.

Reason:
The second storage bar, referred to as "allocated capacity," is a new preview feature in the Power Platform admin center's capacity reporting. This feature allows administrators to organize and observe overall capacity for each environment. The display of this feature is part of continuous updates to the user interface and is not indicative of an error.

Resolution:

  • The first capacity storage bar should be viewed as it shows the real and total capacity usage of the organization.
  • The allocated capacity bar is an ongoing development effort and does not affect actual storage usage or real data.
  • For further understanding of the allocated capacity, refer to the document: Dataverse capacity-based storage details - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.
