What’s happening?
The customer is concerned about the capacity of the Microsoft TrickleFeedService-Analytics table and is seeking to clean up the table without impacting their business operations.
Reason:
The growth of the Microsoft TrickleFeedService-Analytics table is caused by the enabling of various Analytics or related features within the customer's environment, such as Sales, Customer Service Hub, Field Service, and Resource Scheduling Optimization. These features create records in a Dataverse entity that require data to be exported to a managed Azure data lake storage, which contributes to the storage consumption reported in the capacity report.
Resolution:
To reduce the storage consumption of the Microsoft TrickleFeedService-Analytics table, the customer can take the following steps:
- Disable all Analytics or related features that are currently enabled in their organization. This will remove the records in the Dataverse entity and subsequently delete the corresponding exported data in the managed Azure data lake storage, which will be reflected in their capacity report.
- Consider uninstalling any installed insight solutions that may be contributing to the data growth.
Please note that changes in capacity may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the summary tab.
