What’s happening?
Customers encounter an error message stating, "There was a problem installing your app. Submit a support request," while attempting to install the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Provisioning app under Dynamics 365 Apps for a trial environment.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to the assignment of necessary licenses for the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Provisioning app, which may not have been completed prior to the installation attempt.
Resolution:
- Verify that the user attempting the installation has the appropriate licenses assigned. It is recommended to connect with the global admin or the Dynamics 365 admin to ensure that the necessary licenses are assigned.
- Once the licenses are confirmed and synced, retry the installation of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Provisioning app.
