What’s happening?
The environment copy process from the production environment to the sandbox environment is taking longer than expected, causing delays in scheduled work.
Reason:
The duration of the copy operation can vary based on several factors, including the size of the data and the complexity of the environment. Generally, the copy and restore operations can take up to 8 hours, but if there is a significant amount of data, including audit data, it could take up to 24 hours.
Resolution:
- Confirmed that the environment copy was successful after taking over 14 hours to complete.
- For future reference, if the copy operation exceeds 16 hours, it is recommended to reach out for assistance.
