What’s happening?
The customer has migrated all instances from an old tenant to a new tenant, but the old tenant remains active, causing issues when users attempt to log in and receive password reset notifications.

Reason:
The default environment in the old tenant is still active, while all other environments have been disabled and the subscriptions have been deprovisioned.

Resolution:

  • Verify the status of the tenant to confirm that all environments except the default environment are disabled and that subscriptions are deprovisioned.
  • If the customer wishes to delete the entire tenant, they should follow the steps outlined in the documentation for deleting a tenant: Delete a tenant.
  • Inform the customer to take a backup of all applications that may exist within the old tenant before proceeding with deletion.
