Applies to Product - Power Platform Administration

What’s happening?
The customer is unable to see the subnet in the dropdown while configuring the Data gateway, despite having already delegated the subnet.

Reason:
The setup for the US region has not yet been completed, which is necessary to finish the setup for the failover. Additionally, there may be a mismatch between the Azure region and the Power Platform region.

Resolution:

  1. Complete the setup for the US region to finalize the failover configuration.
  2. Run the subnet injection script for both the primary and failover subnets.
  3. Execute the subnet injection enterprise policies.
  4. Ensure that the Azure region matches with the Power Platform region to avoid any mismatches.
  5. Verify that the subnets being used are properly delegated to the Power Platform enterprise policies.
  6. Confirm that a Power BI Premium capacity license (A4 SKU or higher or any P SKU) or a Fabric license (any SKU) is in place, as VNET data gateways require this licensing.
  7. Test the VNet setup to determine if there are any concerns with latency between the US regions.
