What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing an error when attempting to apply customer ledger entries, receiving a message stating that a vendor ledger entry does not exist.
Reason:
This may be related to a recent change in the Customer Posting group or due to customizations that interfere with the application process.
Troubleshooting:
- Verify if there has been a recent change in the Customer Posting group. If so, revert to the previous Customer Posting group before applying the payment.
- If the error persists, test the application process in a standard sandbox environment without any third-party extensions to determine if the issue is related to customizations.
- If the error does not occur in the standard environment, consider removing third-party extensions one by one and recreating the scenario each time to identify the extension causing the error.
