What’s happening?
Questions regarding the compatibility of Business Essential and Premium licenses within the same company and environment.
Reason:
Business Central does not allow mixing different license types within a single environment or company.
Resolution:
- The customer can have a mix of Business Essential and Premium licenses at the tenant level; however, each environment and company can only have one type of license. Therefore, to utilize the Premium features, all users must be upgraded to the Premium license.
