Seeking assistance with using Power BI Pro licenses from their parent tenant within their Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) tenant located in a different region.
Reason:
Cross-tenant license sharing is not supported under Microsoft’s current subscription model. Microsoft licenses, including Power BI, are tied to a specific Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) tenant, and users need to be in the same tenant as Business Central to fully utilize these services.

Resolution:
Regarding the request to use Power BI Pro licenses from the parent tenant within the UAE tenant running Dynamics 365 Business Central, the following options are recommended: - Consider migrating users and services to a single tenant if feasible for the business structure. - Acquire Power BI Pro licenses separately for the UAE tenant. - Consult Microsoft regional cloud specialists for any potential alternatives within the licensing agreement. - If this is a critical requirement, escalate the request directly to Microsoft’s Product Group via the Yammer community or discuss with the regional Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider.
