What’s happening?
Customers are unable to create new bank reconciliation statements or unreconcile existing statements due to the error message indicating that the "Reconciliation Statement Change Number already used."


Reason:
This arises because the system recognizes that there is already a posted bank statement with the same number.


Resolution:

  1. Check the "Last Statement No." field on the bank account.
  2. Update the value in the "Last Statement No." field to a higher number. For example, if the current number is 22, change it to 23 or higher.
  3. After updating the number, the error should be resolved, allowing the customer to add or reconcile statements.
