The customer is experiencing an issue with the E-Documents setup, specifically regarding the inclusion of the Peppol Participant ID in the XML sent to them. The Peppol ID consists of 12 digits, while the GLN field requires 13 digits, leading to confusion.
Reason:
The GLN field, which requires 13 digits, is based on the GS1 standard and is compliant with ISO standards. If the GLN field is blank, the value in the VAT Registration No. field is used instead.
Resolution:
To resolve this, ensure the following: - If the GLN field is blank, populate the VAT Registration No. field with the Peppol Participant ID. This will allow the Peppol ID to show up in the XML as required.
