What’s happening?
Need to export of a BACPAC file from a Business Central environment, specifically from a sandbox environment. However, the database export functionality is not available in this environment, leading to the need for alternative solutions.
Reason:
The requested action to export a BACPAC file is not feasible within the capabilities of the Business Central tool when operating in a sandbox environment.
Resolution:
- The client should copy the information from the sandbox environment into a production environment if available.
- Once the data is in the production environment, the client can then export the BACPAC file in the desired format.
- This approach is the only viable option for accomplishing the task without resorting to other methods such as Excel or RapidStart.
