What’s happening?
The location allocated against a project and project task is not defaulting when entering the project or project task on the project journal.
Reason:
This is by design; the system does not automatically populate the location code from the project card into the project journal. This functionality is intended to allow for manual entry, providing users with flexibility in specifying values.
Resolution:
- Users should manually specify the necessary fields in the project journal as the system does not auto-populate the location code.
- To reduce manual work, users may consider using the 'edit in Excel' feature or pre-editing the line in Excel and then pasting the data back into the system.
