What’s happening?
The 1099 magnetic media file and the Vendor 1099 Information Report are not reflecting adjustments made to the 1099 form boxes. This issue is occurring specifically for certain tenants using the application.


Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the magnetic media only prints for vendors that have vendor ledger entries. Adjustments made to the 1099 form boxes for vendors without vendor ledger entries do not appear on the magnetic media file.


Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the client is not using the deprecated 1099 filing functionality.
  2. Advise the client to upgrade to version 25.1 or later, as the issue has been reported to be corrected in these versions.
  3. Confirm that the adjustments are entered correctly in the 1099 Form box with the appropriate year and amount.
  4. If the issue persists, gather screenshots or reproduction steps from the client to facilitate further investigation.
