What’s happening?
Users are unable to assign specific percentages of effort to different resources within a project task in the application. They seek a method to allocate resources with defined percentages, such as Developer 80% and Project Manager 20%.
Reason:
Currently, there is no option to assign specific percentages of effort to different resources within a project task without creating multiple separate tasks for each effort level. This limitation can lead to cumbersome management of numerous tasks, roles, and resources.
Resolution:
- It is possible to manually adjust the effort for each resource on a daily basis, but there is no bulk update feature available for modifying the effort assigned to resources.
- Consider splitting tasks into multiple entries as a workaround, although this may not be convenient for managing many tasks.
