What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing an issue with inventory management where an item, which has been consumed for projects, still appears as on-hand in the system across two inventory locations. The customer is requesting the removal of these items from the inventory system.

 Reason:
The inventory management system has not been updated to reflect the actual physical consumption of the items. Possible causes include a data entry error, a system glitch, or a lack of integration between the project management system and the inventory management system.

Resolution:
To resolve this, the following steps should be taken:
- Utilize the cleanup routines available in Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. These routines can help manage inventory effectively, including the deletion of on-hand entries that are no longer needed. - Specifically, the On-hand entries cleanup routine is designed to delete closed and unused entries for on-hand inventory, which may be applicable in this case to remove the specified item from the inventory locations mentioned.
