What’s happening?

Some users experience a pop-up message when invoicing a sales order, while others do not. The message states: "Current Quantity value is All. The recommended value is Delivery note. Do you want to apply the recommended value?" Users who do not receive this message must manually change the ordered quantity.

 Reason:
The inconsistency in receiving the pop-up message may be due to cached usage data not being completely cleared or user-specific personalization settings.

Resolution:

  1. Validate with the affected users to determine if they are receiving the expected pop-up message.
  2. Clear the usage data for the users experiencing the issue:
  3. From the home screen, click on the gear icon in the top right corner and open the user options.
  4. Select 'Usage data' from the action pane.
  5. In the column (Element name), filter by "SalesFormLetter" and highlight the entries followed by "_Invoice".
  6. Select these entries and delete them.
  7. After clearing the usage data, have the users return to the sales order and change the quantity parameter to 'All' to check if the pop-up message appears.
  8. If the message appears, users can select "Do not tell me again" and then click "No" to proceed.
  9. If necessary, reset the personalization settings for the users and test again using the same pattern as described above.
