What’s happening?
The customer encounters a configuration warning stating that a specific configuration has not been assigned to the product while attempting to perform an inventory adjustment of a journal.
Reason:
This is identified as a bug related to the Inventory Dimension "Configuration." The system allows transactions to occur even when the associated variant is missing or deleted, which should not be the case.
Resolution:
- Verify if the product master has the required product dimension configuration assigned.
- If the configuration is missing, attempt to reassign the configuration to the product.
- Monitor the progress of the bug fix published in the Lifecycle Services (LCS) and sign up for notifications regarding the resolution. The bug can be tracked at the provided LCS link.
- If the issue persists, further investigation may be required to determine if any recent changes have affected the product configuration model.
