What’s happening?
The Average Daily Usage (ADU) of DDMRP is not calculated properly, leading to discrepancies in expected values.

Reason:
The calculation of ADU is based on the decimal of the inventory unit. When the decimal is set to 0, the minimum order quantity defaults to 1, which affects the ADU calculation.

Resolution:

  • If the decimal of the inventory unit is 0, the ADU will be set to 1. For example, if the calculation yields a value of 0.2 (e.g., 2/10), it will automatically round up to 1.
  • To achieve different values for ADU, test with an item that has a decimal of inventory unit set to 1 or 2.
  • If decimal support is needed in DDMRP, ensure to set the decimal in the unit page.
