What’s happening?
The system generates an error message indicating that the supply setting for a product does not match the active planning attributes, resulting in the planned purchase order not being generated.
Reason:
This arises when the "Coverage plan by dimension" is set to "Yes" on an inactive tracking dimension. This configuration leads the system to require the inactive tracking dimension under the minimum/maximum definition, even though it is not active.
Resolution:
To resolve this, unmark the "Coverage plan by dimension" option on the inactive tracking dimension. This adjustment allows the system to function correctly without requiring the inactive tracking dimension, thus enabling the generation of planned purchase orders.
