What’s happening?
The e-signature functionality is not working on the item batch form when attempting to update specific fields such as shelf life, vendor batch details, and batch disposition code.
Reason:
This arises because shelf life is not supported for non-batch-tracked items. If updates are attempted on shelf life dates for items that are not batch tracked, the system is designed to prevent these updates, leading to errors when enabling e-signatures for these fields.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the user-defined e-signature requirements are set up correctly.
- Attempt to change the batch disposition code.
- Specify the desired disposition code and click the OK button.
- If the system throws an error, verify that the items being updated are batch tracked. If they are not, this may be the reason for the error encountered.
