What’s happening?
The e-signature functionality is not working on the item batch form when attempting to update specific fields such as shelf life, vendor batch details, and batch disposition code.


Reason:
This arises because shelf life is not supported for non-batch-tracked items. If updates are attempted on shelf life dates for items that are not batch tracked, the system is designed to prevent these updates, leading to errors when enabling e-signatures for these fields.


Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the user-defined e-signature requirements are set up correctly.
  2. Attempt to change the batch disposition code.
  3. Specify the desired disposition code and click the OK button.
  4. If the system throws an error, verify that the items being updated are batch tracked. If they are not, this may be the reason for the error encountered.
