What’s happening?
The feature "Exclude from master planning" is not functioning correctly, as sales orders remain visible in the net requirement form despite enabling the feature.


Reason:
For the checkmark on the sales line to have an effect, the "Exclude specific transactions" option must also be checked on the master plan. This requirement exists because some plans may want to consider all orders. The option on the master plan should not be dependent on the "Ignore specific transaction types using Planning Optimization" feature.


Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the "Exclude specific transactions" option is checked on the master plan.
  2. Verify that the "Ignore specific transaction types using Planning Optimization" feature is not affecting the visibility of the sales orders.
  3. If the issue persists, check the configurations and setups in the master plans form to confirm that all necessary options are enabled.
