What’s happening?
Customers encounter an error when attempting to create a new warehouse in the system. The error message states: "Site <SiteId1> cannot be connected to warehouse <WarehouseId>, since the warehouse has already been used in connection with site <SiteId2>."
 
Reason:
This arises when a warehouse name is not unique across sites, or if there are existing inventory dimension records that have not been completely updated with the new warehouse name.
 
Resolution:
To resolve this, perform the following steps: - Run the inventory dimension clean-up from the inventory management periodic tasks: - Navigate to Inventory Management > Periodic Tasks > Clean Up > Inventory Dimension Clean Up. - If this persists, consider renaming the warehouse to the old warehouse name and then renaming it again to the new name to update any missing records. - Ensure that the warehouse name is unique across all sites to prevent similar issues in the future.
