What’s happening?

Users are unable to navigate to a 'Firmed' Transfer journal via the 'Firming history Number' hyperlink, encountering an error message when attempting to click the hyperlink.


Reason:

This is identified as a standard product bug that occurs in both a vanilla (no customizations) D365 F&O Sandbox and client environments. The error message indicates that the function "InventJournalTableJumpRefHelper:main has been incorrectly called."

 

Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the environment is updated to version 10.0.42 (build 10.0.2073.0 or better), as this has been reported to be fixed in this version.
  2. If the issue persists after the update, attempt to access the hyperlink in a clean sandbox environment and compare the results.
