Reason:
This is caused by a product limitation, as the requested function to block work based on shipping date is not available in the standard environment.

Resolution:
To create an inventory blocking record that prevents specified inventory from being reserved by other outbound source documents until the expected date, follow these steps: 1. Go to Inventory management. 2. Select Periodic tasks. 3. On the Action Pane, create a new blocking record. 4. On the header of the new blocking record, set the Item number field to the item that you want to block. 5. On the General FastTab, in the Quantity field, enter the number of items to block. 6. On the Inventory dimensions FastTab, specify the site and warehouse where the items that you want to block are located. 7. On the General FastTab, set the Expected date field to the ship date when the blocked inventory is expected to become available. 8. On the Action Pane, select Save.
