What’s happening?
Unable to select a legal entity while adding a new data entity to the demand planning app for importing item allocation keys data.
Reason:
This is related to the synchronization delay in the system, which can take more than 24 hours after creating a new table. Additionally, the legal entity table may not be properly configured or visible in the demand planning app.
Resolution:
- Refresh Data Entity List: Ensure that the data entity list in the system administration is refreshed. This can be done by navigating to System administration > Workspaces > Data management and selecting the Framework parameters tile. Then, open the Entity settings tab and refresh the list.
- Check Entity Visibility: Verify that the legal entity table is visible and properly configured in the Demand Planning app. The Legal Entity table should store information about legal entities and related details.
- Add Unlisted Entity: If the legal entity is not listed, you may need to add it manually. Use the Add mapping dialog to identify the Source entity and Target table, then map the required source entity fields to their matching target table fields.
- Permissions and Roles: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions and roles to add new data entities. Specific roles or admin access might be required to perform these actions.
