What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties with the management of Device licenses and manufacturing orders, specifically regarding the assignment of licenses and the operations that can be performed with them.
Reason:
It has been confirmed that assigning Supply licenses to shared devices (with Device licenses) constitutes a licensing violation. Additionally, Operations - Device licenses do not include all functionalities of Operations - Activity user licenses.
Resolution:
- For users with the role of ProdProductionSupervisor, it is necessary to assign Supply licenses individually to avoid licensing violations.
- If users wish to utilize all functionalities associated with Activity licenses, they should consider assigning Activity licenses instead of Device licenses.
- If there are any specific operations that customers wish to perform with Device licenses, they should ensure that these operations are within the scope allowed by their current licenses. If further clarification is needed, customers should reach out for additional support.
