What’s happening?
The MES system is displaying error code labels as "None," despite the underlying values being correctly entered in the journal. This issue arises after a customization was implemented to add more error codes, which function correctly when selected in the job card journal but fail to display properly in MES.

Reason:
The problem is related to the customization that was made to add more error codes to the MES system. The error codes are missing for labels, resulting in the display of "None" instead of the expected values.

Resolution:

  • Verify the customization code used to extend the base enum "ProdErrorCause" to ensure it is correctly implemented.

  • If the MES system was not previously used, gather information on whether it was functioning correctly before the customization was applied.
  • As a temporary workaround, users can manually update the job card journal for production orders and select the required error codes from the drop-down box.

  • This issue is resolved by the product team in the newer versions.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, further investigation may be required, and additional information may need to be collected from the customer.
