What’s happening?
The customer encounters a mapping error with the message "The company does not exist" when attempting to approve a purchase requisition or when posting or deleting payment lines. This issue appears to be intermittent and has only been reported in specific instances.
 

Reason:
The underlying cause of this may be related to customizations impacting the workflow process when trying to approve the purchase requisition. Additionally, the presence of extensions in the environment may prevent the resolution of this.
 

Resolution:

  • Remove any extensions from the environment and attempt to replicate this in a lower environment (UAT).
  • If the issue persists after removing extensions, continue to investigate the case.
  • If the issue does not occur in the standard Dynamics installation, further support may be limited, and the customer may need to consult with their technical team or a partner for additional assistance.
  • If the problem cannot be reproduced, it may be necessary to explore database customizations or other factors that could be contributing to the issue.
