Resolution:
To resolve the error message "overlapping job ids exist for production and manufacturing jobs," follow these steps: 1. Turn on the Unified number sequence for job IDs feature in the Feature Management. 2. Identify or create a number sequence for your unified job IDs. 3. Go to the Production control parameters, Manufacturing execution parameters, or Time and attendance parameters. 4. Open the Number sequences tab on your selected parameters. 5. Assign the identified number sequence code to the Unified job IDs row of the grid.
This ensures that all modules reference the same number sequence, preventing conflicts and data corruption.
