What’s happening?
The alternative product number option is not functioning as expected, leading to confusion during product configuration and order processing.


Reason:
The behavior experienced is expected when the quantity on the sales order line exceeds the available inventory. In such cases, a pop-up notification will appear regardless of the site or warehouse in use.


Resolution:

  1. During the troubleshooting process, it was confirmed that this is not a defect in the product itself.
  2. To ensure the functionality works as expected, clear the item from all levels and ensure the count is zero.
  3. Test the functionality again in the same manner as demonstrated during the support call. If further issues arise, please reach out for additional assistance.
