What’s happening?
The "Where-used" button in "Impacted Products" inside an Engineering Change Order (ECO) does not function as expected, while the "Where-used" feature from "Released Products" operates correctly.

Reason:
The "Where-used" functionality within the ECO is designed to only find engineering parts. If the parts are not converted to engineering parts, they will not be found using the "Where-used" button in the ECO.

Resolution:

  • Ensure that the parts in question are converted to engineering parts before using the "Where-used" button within the ECO.
  • Verify that the Bill of Materials (BOM) versions and configurations are set up correctly.
  • If the issue persists, check for any missing records in the BOM table, specifically the EngChgReleasedEngineeringProductVersion, which may not be called correctly in the code.
