What’s happening?
The customer encounters an error message stating "Quality order has been generated" when attempting to report a production order as finished (RAF) after the entire quantity has been scrapped. This issue prevents the update from being processed due to conflicts between parameter setups and policies in quality associations.

Reason:
This is identified as a known bug related to the system's handling of quality orders during the RAF process. The system is designed to require the completion of the associated quality order before allowing the production order to be reported as finished.

Resolution:

  1. Workaround Steps:
  2. Start the remaining operations with a quantity of zero.
  3. Delete the quality order that was generated.
  4. Proceed to report the production order as finished.
  5. Alternative Workaround:
  6. If the error occurs, restart the production order and delete the quality order to unblock the RAF process.
  7. Configuration Change:
  8. Set the Execution field to "After" in the Quality associations to potentially bypass the issue.
  9. Monitoring:
  10. Keep track of the progress of the investigation regarding this bug through the provided LCS link.
