What’s happening?
The customer requires logs for frequent backups of the production database managed by Microsoft. They are also seeking a way to access these logs in the future without raising a support ticket.


Reason:
The product team has confirmed that backup logs to demonstrate Microsoft's backup activities will not be provided at this time. Ongoing discussions with senior management regarding this matter are taking place.


Resolution:

  • Customers are recommended to monitor the SYSDATBASELOG table and TRANSACTION LOG TABLE to meet audit trail requirements.
  • Customers are encouraged to submit their ideas or requirements directly to the product team through the Ideas portal, where all submissions are reviewed by the development team for potential future features.
  • If further clarification is needed, a remote session can be scheduled to discuss the requirements in detail.
