What’s happening?
The system does not support displaying product volume in cubic meters, as it currently calculates and displays volume based on physical dimensions provided in millimeters. This leads to confusion, especially in shipment and warehouse management contexts where cubic meters would be more appropriate.
Reason:
The system is designed to calculate volume directly from the dimensions provided in millimeters without logic to support multiple units for volume display. This is the current designed behavior of the system.
Resolution:
- It is recommended to vote on the idea to request the product group to reconsider the implementation of the volume calculation logic. This can be done through the provided idea link.
- As there is no standard approach to change the volume display from millimeters to cubic meters, users should be aware that this limitation is part of the system's current functionality.
