What’s happening?
The production order does not support backflushing for non-batch-controlled items in license plate controlled locations.
Reason:
This is a design limitation as determined by the product team. The system cannot automatically determine which license plate to use for non-batch-controlled items when all on-hand inventory is located in a license plate controlled location.
Resolution:
- Change the production input location to a non-license plate controlled location to avoid the backflushing error.
- If changing the location is not feasible, consider transferring the non-batch-controlled items from the receiving location to the production input location as an additional step in the process.
