Applies to Product -Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services

What’s happening?
Customers are unable to access environment entry points and telemetry data after the migration of functionalities from Lifecycle Services (LCS) to the Power Platform.

Reason:
The migration of certain functionalities from LCS to the Power Platform has resulted in changes to how users access environment links, usernames, passwords, and telemetry data.

Resolution:

  • To obtain the environment link and username/password, there is no need to redirect or use another portal. Users can access the environment information directly through the existing LCS project.
  • For telemetry data, instead of using the environment monitoring tool in LCS, users should now utilize the Application Monitoring and diagnostics tools. More information can be found in the documentation: Monitoring and diagnostics tools in Lifecycle Services - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn.
  • For the new development online environment, users can refer to the Unified Developer Experience documentation available at: Unified developer experience for finance and operations apps - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.
  • Users can access the same Cloud Hosted environments as before by logging into the LCS project, selecting the Hamburger button, and then navigating to Cloud Hosted Environments.
  • If users encounter issues accessing the environment, they should check the link labeled "Full details" in their environment (either production or UAT) and look for the "Environment monitoring" link at the end of that page for more information.
