What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing data transfer charges for their environments because the UAT, PROD, and Power Platform sites are deployed in a different region than their other services, specifically in East US 2.
 
Reason:
The environments (PAG-UAT, PAG-PROD, and Power Platform sites) are located in a region that is different from the customer's other services, leading to data transfer fees.
 
Resolution:
To resolve this, the customer needs to redeploy their UAT, PROD, and Power Platform environments in the same region as their other services. The following steps outline the redeployment process: 1. Sign in to the developer portal. 2. Locate the environment you want to redeploy. 3. Select the options menu next to the environment name and choose "Redeploy." 4. If parameters are defined on the environment definition, you will be prompted to make any changes. After making the necessary changes, select "Redeploy." 5. The environment will display a "Redeploying..." status while the redeployment takes place. To view the redeployed resources, select "Environment Resources" in the Azure portal.
