What’s happening?
Customers are seeking a way to customize Lifecycle Services (LCS) user security roles to create a role that has full access to cloud-hosted environments and read-only access to production environments.
Reason:
It is currently not supported to customize security roles in LCS. The available roles are limited to the standard security roles provided by Microsoft.
Resolution:
- Inform the customer that customizing a new user security role in LCS is not supported at this time.
- Provide the customer with the link to the document detailing the standard security roles available in LCS.
- Suggest that if the customization is critical for their business, they may consider submitting a new idea to the engineering team through the appropriate channels.
