What’s happening?
Customers are unable to access the Netting History form when not assigned the System Admin role. The form appears to be restricted to users with the System Admin role only.


Reason:
The underlying cause is related to security role configurations that do not allow access to the Netting History form for users without the System Admin role. A bug has been identified where the required roles and privileges for accessing the Netting History are not properly assigned.


Resolution:
To resolve this and provide access to the Netting History form without the System Admin role, follow these steps:

  1. Create a Custom Role:
  2. Create a custom role that includes the necessary privileges for accessing the Netting History.
  3. Modify Privileges:
  4. Expand the privileges for "View Customer and Vendor Netting."
  5. Add the following items under "Display menu Items":
    • CustVendNettingHistory (for Netting History Form access)
    • CustVendNettingResversalDialog (for Netting Reversal Button access)
  6. Publish Changes:
  7. After making the changes, publish the updated privileges.
  8. Assign the Custom Role:
  9. Assign the newly created custom role to the specific users who need access to the Netting History.
  10. Testing:
  11. Ensure that the users can now access the Netting History and the Reversal button as expected.
If the issue persists after following these steps, further investigation may be required, and it is recommended to check for updates regarding the bug fix release planned for version 10.0.42.
