What’s happening?
Customers are unable to configure the production environment due to license mismatches or are experiencing issues with upscaling the production environment to manage user load effectively.

Reason:

  • License mismatch preventing configuration of the production environment.
  • The production environment has reached its maximum allowable sizing changes, which may require an increase in capacity.

Resolution:

  • For issues related to license mismatch, ensure that the correct number of licenses are purchased and assigned. If this persists, verify if the details need to be synced between different systems, which may take up to 3-5 business days.
  • To upscale the production environment, customers should update their sample usage and subscription estimator in the Lifecycle Services (LCS). The system will automatically evaluate the information provided and assign the appropriate environment size within 3-5 days.
  • If the environment is not performing as expected, further investigation may be required from a performance troubleshooting perspective to identify specific issues affecting user experience.
  • If the environment has reached the maximum allowable sizing changes, provide detailed information on the business impact and reasons for needing an increase in capacity to discuss possible solutions with the product group.
For further assistance, refer to the documentation on the Subscription Estimator in Lifecycle Services (LCS) for more information on managing user load and environment sizing.
