What’s happening?
The phone number is not being saved with the contact information in the system. When a record is created or updated, the contact information does not persist as expected.


Reason:
This has been identified as a mismatch in the handling of contact information between the employee and vendor forms. Specifically, when data is input in the employee form, it is incorrectly saved in the vendor form, and vice versa. This behavior has been reproducible in both production and UAT environments.


Resolution:

  1. Review the automated human resources parameters that govern the creation and updating of vendor and employee records.
  2. Validate the processes to pinpoint differences with standard behavior.
  3. Collect and analyze screenshots of the reproduction steps and session information for further evaluation.
  4. Conduct a comprehensive assessment with the internal team to identify and implement a fix for the issue.
If the issue persists after these steps, further investigation may be required, and a follow-up with the internal team should be scheduled.
