What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing issues related to the sizing of their environment, specifically that an assessment of the server size has not been conducted since the system went live.
 

Reason:
The underlying cause is the lack of a server size assessment since the system's go-live date, as indicated by a Microsoft support engineer.
 

Resolution:

  • The customer should utilize the Subscription Estimator in Lifecycle Services to assess the current environment size. This tool will help determine if the environment is appropriately sized.
  • It is recommended that the customer consult with their solution architect to ensure the assessment is conducted effectively.
  • Microsoft does not provide assistance in gathering data needed to fill out peak volume of transactions; the customer must collect this data independently. They can upload the Usage Profile excel workbook that contains peak transaction data when creating a new estimate.
