What's happening?
Users are unable to verify or authenticate custom domains within Customer Insights. Issues reported include:
- Domain registration remains pending indefinitely.
- The "Verify" button does not appear.
- Error message displayed: "an error occurred during creation of domain".
- Error log indicates: "Resource not found for the segment 'msdynmkt_ValidateDomainCustomAction'".
Reason:
The process "ValidateDomainCustomAction" was not activated in the system customization settings.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Advanced Settings.
- Select Customization.
- Click on Customize the system.
- Go to Process.
- Locate and activate the ValidateDomainCustomAction process.
- Save and publish the changes.
