What's happening?
Customer is unable to provision the Omnichannel chat solution as the Omnichannel Admin App is showing in read-only view.
Reason:
The Omnichannel Admin center has been recently deprecated, causing the Omnichannel Admin center to display in read-only mode. All functionalities previously available in the Omnichannel Admin center have now been integrated into the Customer Service Admin App.
Resolution:
To provision the Omnichannel chat solution, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the environment.
- Select the Customer Service admin center app.
- Go to Channels under Customer Support.
- Select Manage for managing channels.
- Select the appropriate check box to provision the Chat channel.
After performing these steps, the provisioning of the chat channel should progress successfully.
