What's happening?

Customer is unable to provision the Omnichannel chat solution as the Omnichannel Admin App is showing in read-only view.

Reason:

The Omnichannel Admin center has been recently deprecated, causing the Omnichannel Admin center to display in read-only mode. All functionalities previously available in the Omnichannel Admin center have now been integrated into the Customer Service Admin App.

Resolution:

To provision the Omnichannel chat solution, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the environment.
  2. Select the Customer Service admin center app.
  3. Go to Channels under Customer Support.
  4. Select Manage for managing channels.
  5. Select the appropriate check box to provision the Chat channel.

After performing these steps, the provisioning of the chat channel should progress successfully.
