What's happening?
Customers need to customize or replace the default privacy statement displayed in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice survey emails.
Reason:
The privacy statement displayed in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice surveys is controlled by Azure Entra ID settings, which are configured per tenant.
Resolution:
The privacy statement for Dynamics 365 Customer Voice surveys can be customized through Azure Entra ID tenant properties. The following points clarify the customization options:
- The privacy statement is a tenant-level setting in Azure Entra ID. It cannot be customized separately for different organizations or environments within the same tenant.
- If multiple organizations or environments exist within the same tenant, it is not possible to set different privacy statements for each. The privacy statement setting applies uniformly across the entire tenant.
- If different privacy statements are required for different organizations or environments, they must be configured in separate tenants.
- It is not possible to completely remove the default privacy statement provided by Dynamics 365 Customer Voice.
To update the company name displayed in the disclaimer at the bottom of Customer Voice survey emails, a Tenant Administrator must update the "Name" field within the Azure Entra ID tenant properties. The value entered in this "Name" field will be reflected in the disclaimer of the survey emails.
Tenant administrators should perform the following steps: 1. Access Azure Entra ID tenant properties. 2. Update the "Name" field with the desired company name. 3. Save the changes.
This updated name will then appear in the disclaimer section of Customer Voice survey emails.
